The Gift of Presence

Dear Strong Woman,

Being present is the real present.

There’s Christmas and there’s Christmas through the eyes of your kiddo. But then there’s Christmas after you’ve done a ton of healing work.

It takes a village, and the old stories that kept me in a shameful place with receiving are more of a reality in my past life than present. Tons of breakthroughs for me that have allowed me to be open to so much love and joy and magic…just in time for the holidays. And potty training. And ice cream cake. And transitioning to a toddler bed.

We are so abundantly blessed, but that came from me relating to myself as a blessing - just as I am - rather than a burden. A message I’ve chosen to believe again and again, but this year I feel it in my bones.

This is a post for anyone who ever feels like they aren’t enough. Your life is beautiful as a consequence of you, not in spite of you. Slow down these last few days of the holidays - even more than you think you have - and sink into all that makes you a true treasure to behold.

Get present to the gift of you, and let others be in the presence of that. 🎁

And if you didn’t know, I’m in your village. Proudly. Happily. Ready. ❤️
